I'm Anne. I am a soccer mom to a 14 year old star and an 18 year old (well he was on the team).
I have played various games in my life as a way to pass the time. I was never an avid TV person until recently thanks to my current Husband (Only married once before to the father of my boys).
I am a cancer survivor (I have been told I need to say this by my husband or I won't believe it). I had half of my thyroid removed at 23 and the rest removed just over 1 year ago along with a 2+ inch tumor that turned out to be cancerous. I underwent Iodine radiation treatment. A few months later I had a lumpectomy on my left breast. I have been very fortunate to have the support of my husband in all of this ... our second Anniversary is in August (So tough first year!).
I have a small pharmacy that I take daily and I am always tired and exhausted (Synthroid is great but it is no where as good as the hormones produced by your thyroid) after the removal of my thyroid.
Uhm, What else to say after THAT!
See your Doctor and tell him EVERYTHING! The little aches and pains you feel may be more than you think. And if he/she will not listen ... find another Doctor until you are heard.
So about me ... I love to garden, I live in a beautiful 1899 Victorian house and I have 2 truly amazing dogs. My first dog ever is a Golden Doodle who just turned 4 and we rescued him at 8 weeks old. He is the most wonderful part of my day and I can't imagine what I was thinking when I didn't like dogs for the majority of my life. Our second dog is a Labrador Retriever (with a bit extra mixed in). We rescued her at 6 weeks old and she will turn 4 in June. She has a HUGE attitude and loves my husband beyond belief and she will truly only listen to him.
I try to check in daily and most days I am on late evenings. I am re-entering the work force again shortly and hopefully that will not hinder my evenings much ... although it will destroy my great day time fun!
